Louis R. Motley
Louis R. Motley is an accomplished financial leader with more than 15 years of experience in commercial lending, business development, and strategic relationship management. As Vice President of Commercial Lending at Members 1st Federal Credit Union, he oversees a diverse loan portfolio, supports businesses across Central Pennsylvania, and delivers tailored financial solutions that drive sustainable growth. His work includes advising companies with revenues up to $500 million, structuring complex credit facilities, and collaborating across treasury management, merchant services, mortgage, and retail banking teams to provide comprehensive member support.
Before joining Members 1st, Louis served as Vice President and Business Development Officer at First National Bank, where he partnered with business owners throughout Pennsylvania to create innovative financing strategies, expand access to capital, and strengthen local economic development. His background also includes service in the United States Navy, where he developed the discipline, leadership, and mission‑focused mindset that continue to guide his professional approach.
Louis holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Saint Francis University, an MBA in Leadership from Eastern University, and is a proud graduate of Leadership Harrisburg, further strengthening his commitment to civic engagement and community leadership.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Louis is deeply engaged in community service. He serves on the Dauphin County Affordable Housing Trust Board, is a voting member of the CREDC Loan Review Committee, and sits on the Board of Veterans Outreach of Pennsylvania. His volunteer work reflects his dedication to expanding economic opportunity, supporting veterans, and strengthening the communities he serves.
