Donna L. Fisher, Esq
Donna Fisher is a retired partner from the law firm Pepper Hamilton LLP where she concentrated her practice in civil litigation, with an emphasis in the defense of pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Ms. Fisher has continued her pro bono work as a Fellow in The Pepper Center for Public Service.
Ms. Fisher graduated magna cum laude from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. She received a B.S. in Accounting, with highest distinction, from the Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of the Pennsylvania bar. Ms. Fisher is admitted to practice in the federal courts in the Eastern and Middle District of Pennsylvania, the United State Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
Ms. Fisher is a Master Emeritus of the James S. Bowman Inns of Court, as well as a past president of that organization. She served on the Board of Directors for the Friends of the State Museum, the Whitaker Center for Science and Arts, and the Capital Region Economic Development Council. She also served on the board of directors for the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Political Action Committee and served as treasurer for the Committee.
Ms. Fisher has long-standing roots in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, growing up on a family dairy farm in Centre County. She and her husband, Thomas Schmidt, live in Wormleysburg and are parents of two adult sons who currently live in Berkeley, California, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
