Come celebrate with us as we kick off the landmark renovation of The State Museum of Pennsylvania!
The first 250 people to pre-register for this free community celebration will receive special early access to the Museum from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Say “see you soon” to your favorite galleries and enjoy family-friendly fun, including a balloon drop in Memorial Hall at noon. Light refreshments will be served.
Sunday, August 2, 2026, is the last chance to visit the museum before it closes for the most comprehensive upgrade since it opened in 1964. The museum will reopen in 2029.
