Learn at Lunchtime is a program featuring a variety of exciting lectures and presentations.

Absent as a Pennsylvania breeding bird since the mid-1950s, 2026 marks the 10-year anniversary of piping plovers returning to Presque Isle State Park in Erie County. Learn about the plight of Pennsylvania’s rarest shorebird, the entourage of dedicated conservationists trying to save them, and the glimmers of hope. Join the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s filmmaker Tracy Graziano and Piping Plover Recovery Coordinator Cathy Haffner to explore what it takes to recover this endangered species.
