Paper Cutting: Scherenschnitte
Scherenschnitte is the art of papercutting. Pronounced “sheer-en-shnit-ah,” this German word means “scissor cuts.” Whether you have cut folded paper into a snowflake design or cut free form shapes with scissors, you have done a version of this art. Learn about the history of Scherenschnitte and create your own paper cutting art.
