263rd Battle Reenactment

263 years ago,  Native and British forces were fighting Pontiac's War over who controlled the country's frontier.  The land that would become our America in just 13 more years! 
 
Today,  over 100 volunteers and historians are preparing for the epic Pontiac's War battle Reenactment weekend on August 1 & 2 at Bushy Run Battlefield. 
We are keeping history alive with admission-free activities planned for visitors of all ages and interests!
 
Check out the schedule: 
The Native and Military reenactor camps, museum, gift shop, children's area in the pavilion, concession, and historical societies parklet will be open to visitors on Saturday and Sunday from 10 - 5.  
 
Scheduled events on Saturday:
10 - Noon - Reenactor demonstrations in the camps.
11 - Noon - Historians' speakers series in the museum
1 and 2:30 - Reenactments of Day 1 Battle
3 - 5 - Historians' Speakers series in the museum

10:30  - Noon - Reenactor demonstrations in the camps
11 - Noon - Historians' speakers series in the museum
1 - Reenactments of Day 2 Battle
