Historic Pithole City - Meet the Author & Presentation, "A Civil War Husband"

Historic Pithole City will feature guest speaker, Cynthia Friend Crytzer, on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Crytzer, a local author, will present on her book "A Civil War Husband," which explores the letters of her great-great grandfather Thomas D. Nelson, a Civil War Union soldier. Nelson wrote home to his wife throughout his time in the war until his capture and imprisonment in Andersonville Prison.
