Discover the Museum’s world-class collection of about 100 historic locomotives and railroad cars, a number of which will be open for you to explore.

Try out the fun and challenging hands-on activities in TrainWorks and in Stewart Junction railway education center.

Walk back in time on Main Street and in Steinman Station passenger depot and telegraph office.

On Saturday evening, the 22nd annual 1940s Swing Dance from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. will take place. This toe-tapping tribute to the Greatest Generation, during Trains & Troops weekend, features the fantastic Moonlighters big band playing live among the historic trains in the Museum’s Rolling Stock Hall.

Dress to impress in your best 1940s vintage attire or military uniform, if you like, to add to the fun!

There are light refreshments, and free on-site parking. The venue is climate controlled.

Tickets are:• $25.00 per person general admission. • $20.00 per person for students, U. S. military veterans, current U. S. service personnel — active, guard and reserves — and current Friends of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania members. ID will be requested at the door for holders of $20.00 tickets.
