Washington Crossing Historic Park
An Afternoon with Martha Washington
Sunday, March 15, 2026
2-3pm
This Women’s History Month, we are proud to highlight the women of the Washington Crossing Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) chapter, longtime partners whose mission to preserve Revolutionary War history and educate future generations aligns with our own. Since 2015, DAR members have helped bring the Park’s history to life through dedicated volunteerism and ongoing advocacy.
This partnership will be highlighted on March 15 at 2:00 PM with An Afternoon with Martha Washington, a special Women’s History Month program sponsored by the Washington Crossing, Margaret Gale Thornton, and Bucks County DAR chapters. This program features Alisa Dupuy, who has portrayed Martha Dandridge Custis Washington since 2009 and has performed for hundreds of audiences nationwide.
Through this engaging living history presentation, audiences will gain insight into Martha Washington’s life, her role during the Revolutionary War, and the experiences of one of the nation’s most influential women. All program proceeds will support 2026 initiatives at WCHP, and registration is required.
Click here. Registration is required. This event is pay-what-you-wish. Similar living-history and museum programs typically carry a $10 per person admission, and guests are invited to contribute at a level that feels meaningful to them in support of the park’s 250th anniversary programming.
