1777 Whtemarsh Encampment Reenactment
Saturday, November 1, 2025
10am - 4pm
Since 1982, the Friends of Hope Lodge has dedicated itself to preserving and celebrating local history by hosting the Whitemarsh Encampment reenactment, an event that brings to life the rich heritage of our community. This significant event commemorates the encampment of General George Washington and the Continental Army in the Whitemarsh Hills from November 2 to December 11, 1777.
We invite you to join us for a day filled with historical demonstrations, educational activities, and a unique opportunity to step back in time and experience the past firsthand through two battle reenactments between Continental and British forces. Your participation not only honors our history but also strengthens our community's appreciation for its heritage.
