Veit, a professor of anthropology at Monmouth University and a leading voice in historical archaeology, will share recent findings from regional sites and discuss how material evidence adds depth to the written record. His career spans teaching, research, and public history leadership, with publications on cemeteries, New Jersey’s past, and the archaeology of the Delaware Valley. His work has been featured on NPR, in Archaeology Magazine, and on TEDx Navesink.
