Summer Camp 2024

Brandywine Battlefield Summer Camp will be running 4 weeks through summer 2024. Campers entering grades 3-5 can register for one or two weeks of camp to learn about life in the 18th century and Washington’s Continental Army through hands-on activities, visits from historical characters, and exciting games. Camp will run Tuesday-Friday from 9:00am-2:00pm each week. 

Campers will be provided with a folder to hold the artwork and letters they complete that they may take home at the end of the week. Campers will also be provided with a Brandywine Battlefield Summer Camp t-shirt. Parents are invited to join us on the Friday of each week at 1:00pm for an opportunity to learn from the campers, see demonstrations, and taste some colonial cooking!

Brandywine Battlefield Summer Camp features two different week topics, inviting students of all interests to explore the history, science, and art of their local community. Join us for the revolutionary fun!

Week 1: June 25-28 Brave the Battle Grades 3-4
Week 2: July 9-12 Step Into the Past Grades 3-4
Week 3: July 23-26 Brave the Battle Grades 4-5
Week 4: July 30-Aug 2 Step Into the Past Grades 4-5
