Trails of History Run - 10K, 5K and 1/2 Mile Fun Run

REGISTRATION: Registration begins at 7:30am at the DeTurk Education Center. The race starts & finishes at the DeTurk Education Center and will begin at 9:00am. Participants will park in the DeTurk Education Center lot and the Wayside Lodge lot.
COURSE: Run through the historic Daniel Boone Homestead and experience the same trails Daniel explored as a child. Runners do one or two 5k loops around the Homestead. Let your legs determine what mileage you do at the end of the 1st loop. Snacks are available following the race. Water stop on route. The course is a combination of road and short grass. 1/2-mile fun run/walk for all ages around the historical area starting at the Craft Shed at 10:15. Walkers permitted in 5k and fun run/walk only.
AWARDS (same for both races): Top M & F plus top 2 M & F in the following Age Groups 15 & under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+. Special award given for best dressed entrant displaying the era of the mid-1700s.

ENTRY FOR ALL EVENTS: $25 if entered by 9/24/2023 includes shirt. After that, $30 up to and including race day while shirts last, or $25 with no shirt. Register online at www.pretzelcitysports.com. No refunds. Race is rain or shine.
