Civil War Living History Event - Detachment, US Engineers

Engineers were vital in helping the Union Army in waging war during the Civil War. Cornwall Iron Furnace is hosting living history interpreters of the Detachment, US Engineers on Saturday & Sunday, October 26-27.
This will be a small and intimate event in which the public will be able to talk one on one about the role of Engineers during the Civil War. This will be an outside event and will be free of charge.
There will also be guided tours of the Cornwall Iron Furnace throughout the weekend for the regular admission fee.
