Living History Weekend

Saturday and Sunday, June 3-4

The Fort Pitt Museum will host a special two-day Living History Weekend focusing on how American Indians and early settlers lived in 18th-century Pittsburgh on June 3-4.

Shideezhi Emarthla, a citizen of the Seneca-Cayuga Nation, will discuss interactions between the historic tribes based in Western Pa. and lead a cooking demonstration. The museum will also ceremoniously fire its replica 18th-century British six-pounder cannon at select times each day, weather pending.

Admission to the outdoor activities at Living History Weekend is free, but regular admission applies to enter the Fort Pitt Museum and access its exhibitions.
