Spend time with family and friends during this memorable annual event and together you’ll enjoy the fascinating heritage of our nation’s railroads amid the Museum’s festive holiday decorations.
Readings of the new classic holiday story The Polar Express will take place in the historic Reading Company multiple unit car No. 800 at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Visitors can send a telegram to the North Pole and even encounter Santa himself.
Enjoy the Museum’s fascinating, world-class collection of 100 historic locomotives and railroad cars, a number of which are open for you to explore. Experience the fun and challenging hands-on activities in Stewart Junction railway education center and in TrainWorks. View the 1915-era Main Street and Steinman Station passenger depot.
On December 9, enjoy seasonal music from Temple Avenue from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Make sure to browse the Whistle Stop Shop museum store for wonderful holiday gifts and sample cookies and hot chocolate, while supplies last.
