American History in Pennsylvania: Great Documents, Great Events, Great Places
Join a cohort of social studies and language arts teachers exploring iconic documents and Pennsylvania's role in American history!
The State Museum of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania State Archives have partnered with the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit and seven other Intermediate Units in Central Pennsylvania to provide an exciting professional development opportunity for social studies and language arts teachers of grades 7 through 12.
Spend time in Harrisburg exploring new methods for teaching and learning more about Pennsylvania history. Social studies teachers will also go on a field trip to explore historic sites in Pennsylvania that played a significant role in American history.
